Smart Patrol aims to resolve the most common problems with discipline of security guards by ensuring the guards are not asleep during their shifts and tracking the guards’ patrol routes.
This is done with two control modes on the app: ‘Stay Awake’ and ‘Route Control’.
In ‘Stay Awake’ mode the app will send a request to the guard to confirm he’s awake at random intervals. The intervals can be adjusted in app settings. The activity log can then be reviewed to determine if the employee is being diligent.
‘Route Control’ mode allows the guards to activate movement tracking when they are going on patrol. The routes with timestamps can then be reviewed by their superiors to ensure proper procedures are being followed.
You can also track when the guards clock in and clock out.
This information can then be reviewed by the back-office to determine if disciplinary action is necessary.
