How to add facility to a client?

Follow these steps to assign a facility to a client using the Smart Patrol web platform:

1. Access the Website

- Open your preferred web browser and navigate to https://smartpatrolapp.com.

2. Log In or Create an Account

- If you already have an account, enter your credentials (email and password) on the login page and click "Log In."

- If you don’t have an account yet, create a new one by following the registration process on the website (e.g., provide email, password, and name).

3. Navigate to Clients

- Once logged in, locate the left sidebar menu on the dashboard.

- Select “Clients” to view a list of currently added clients (Image 1).

- The "Clients" page includes a table listing details such as:

  • Preview images
  • Client names
  • Cities
  • Addresses
  • Contact information
  • Dates
  • Action buttons, including a pencil icon for "Edit."

4. Edit a Client

- On the "Clients" page, find the client you want to assign a facility to and click the pencil icon in the "Edit" column next to their name.

- This will open the edit form for the selected client (Image 2).

5. Assign a Facility

- In the edit form, locate the "Assign to Facility" dropdown menu.

- Click the dropdown and select one or more facilities to assign to the client. Multiple selections are supported.

- If no facility is currently assigned, the default option will be "Select."

6. Save Changes

- After selecting the desired facilities, click the "Save" button to confirm the assignment.

- To discard changes, click the "Cancel" button and return to the client list.

7. Verify the Assignment

- Return to the "Clients" list or reopen the client’s edit form to confirm the assigned facilities are updated correctly.

- Use the search bar if needed to locate the client.

Additional Tips:

- Internet Connection: Ensure a stable connection to avoid losing changes during the process.

- Permissions: Assigning facilities may require administrative access—contact support if restricted.

- Validation: Double-check the selected facilities before saving to ensure accuracy.
