Follow these steps to add a security officer in the Smart Patrol web application:
1. Access the Website
- Open https://smartpatrolapp.com in your preferred web browser.
2. Log In or Create an Account
- If you already have an account, enter your credentials (email and password) on the login page and click "Log In."
- If you don’t have an account, click "Create Account," fill in the required details (e.g., email, password, name), and complete the registration process.
3. View Security Guards on the Home Page
- After logging in, you’ll be taken to the main page.
- Select “Security Guards” from the left menu to see a list of guards (Image 1). Then:
- Add a New Guard:
a) Press the “+ Add” button to manually add a security officer or use the “Import” button to add multiple guards via a file.
b) Note: When choosing “+ Add,” you can either manually add a security officer or send an invitational link to an email (Image 2).

If sending a link, enter the Name and Password (using letters, numbers, and symbols), and a confirmation email with a link to the app (Google Play or App Store) will be sent.
c) Manual Addition: For manual addition, enter the following information (Image 3):

Name: Enter the security officer’s full name.

Job Title: Specify the security officer’s job title (e.g., Patrol Officer).

E-mail: Provide the security officer’s email address.

Password: Set a password using letters, numbers, and symbols.

Assign to Facility: Select the facility to assign the officer to from the dropdown menu.

Add a Photo: Upload a photo in jpeg or png format, ensuring it is less than 1 MB.

Notes: Add any additional notes about the security guard (e.g., special skills or remarks).
4. Save or Cancel
- When all fields are filled, press “Save” to add the security officer or “Back” to return to the previous list of guards.
Note:
- Ensure you have the latest browser version and an active internet connection.
- The layout may vary slightly due to updates.
- If you encounter issues logging in or adding a guard, verify your credentials or contact support.
